Since La Casa means The Home, we take particular pride in having ourselves, the partners, directly on the ground, so you can feel comfortable while we maintain standards of excellence.
We want everyone who lives the experience of working with our company, everyone who reaches out with our people feel they have had a memorable production experience.
Axel was born and raised in Canada, in Vancouver and Montreal. A fascination with nature and adventure sports, combined with a degree in business eventually led to life in Chile, work in Spain, then southern Chile, which led to producing tvcs and stills in Chile, before meeting with Polo, with whom they formed La Casa Films in 2008. Axel runs the southern Chile - Patagonia office, in Puerto Varas for La Casa.
Polo has ample experience living abroad, served 5 years as President of the Chilean Association of Production Service Companies (APSP), and continues to serve on the board of directors. His involvement in high level negotiations with the government, local authorities, and Chile’s Film Commission confirm La Casa’s strong commitment to filming in the long term, with top access to decision makers when it matters most to your shoot.
